The character I'm interested in apping is from a Vocaloid song canon. It has a manga, but it hasn't been translated yet, so a lot of stuff is headcanon right now. Either way, the canon IS its own thing, and I think I could definitely get a personality out of it, but I'm basically wondering if it'd be acceptable to apply for said person? If not, would I have to make them an AU then? I don't mind saying they're AU if you want, and I doubt there's another version of the character anyway BUT STILL.
