1. Owly here is from a wordless comic series, and previously when I tried to app him to another game I was told the wordlessness made it too hard to establish a coherent personality. However, I feel that the use of rebus bubbles. actions, and flashbacks is sufficient to show his personality. What's your opinion on this?
2. Would a character from a short story be appable? I'm thinking of apping the griffin from The Griffin and the Minor Canon by Frank Stockton. 2a. The griffin doesn't have any name given in the story, and there's no real suggestion that he has an ungiven one. On the other hand, there's a suggestion in the story that he's not aware of what species he's called until told about the stone statue of him. So would he basically forget that he's a griffin? 2b. The griffin eats very rarely, and only eats/takes food from people he is actually fond of, which is pretty rare. So stuff like changing animals into humans wouldn't really work for him. And at the end of the canon, he's already near-starving. Would it be possible to have him be brought in with the starvation symptoms removed, and thus give him time to establish a connection with someone who he would accept food from? 2c. There's an adaptation of the short story into a Twine game by Chandler Groover. It uses a lot of the original text, but also adds a bit more dialogue and gives more of the griffin's emotions. Would it be allowed to use that game to supplement my application?
3. I have an AU universe that's basically three separate canons combined together. I assume a character from it would basically be an AU for their original canon, right?
