(For context, Owari's dropping via eating would have messed with Nidai more than I'd want to in his first month, so the only two ways I could think of to keep forward momentum would be to assume she got to leave or to get him to change his wish to one that would bring her back to life. It seems the former is quite possible and is the easier to make happen, so I will go with that!)
