It's just to check to see if this character would count as canon or not; if a character has their child self appear with enough screen time to establish their personality and explain why they act the way they do (so about an episode's worth in a twelve episode anime), would apping their child self count as AU or canon? I know some games have specific rules about children versions of characters, so I felt that I should ask!
