It's no problem! The point system only exists for people who would prefer solid numbers as to how exactly much of their debt is being cleared as opposed to just eyeballing things. Normal jobs take away from your debt at a much slower rate than event participation; to use the point system to describe them, you could say that a worker would chip one point off of their debt for every two hours of work. However, using points to measure the work your character's done is 100% up to you.
