would you guys ever consider making hmd mandatory? i notice most games, more often than not, have mandatory hmd. a lot of newly opened games also have mandatory hmd. personally, i would love to see hmd become mandatory, as i have heard, in the past, that optional hmd is a bit intimidating for some players. by making it mandatory, it makes it more of a "everyone is doing it and open to it" kind of thing, which makes it a little less scary for those players.

The mod team discussed this, and while it's not a bad mechanic and has advantages, it feels a bit misplaced for what is ultimately a slice-of-life game. Mandatory HMD is most useful in plot-heavy games, typically, and feels out of place in a game like Forest Covered.
