Anything Else: My speed will fluctuate due to having trigger finger in my thumbs. SO. I might be slow/non-existant for like a few days at a time? But I'm really okay with backtagging forever.

Character: Shigeru Miyata / Shoki
Character's Journal: mysophobic!
Character Blurb: Shigeru is a 28 year old derp. He's open-minded, easy to get along with, and he's sorta kinda too upfront sometimes. His filter is kinda bad due to having a poor time of socializing in his younger years, but he's trying okay? Speaking of which, or lack of speaking thereof, Shigeru is also a mute! He's pretty expressive though and he's good at getting around the whole not talking business. But he'll do his best to communicate until he has something to write with. He's not very good with crowded places and he's very OCD at times. His anxiety tends to get worse in cramped/crowded spaces so he'll avoid those when possible. He's also pretty against people touching him and also his stuff, sorry. It makes him come off as unapproachable but he's really not mean. He's really self conscious about his phobia and muteness too.
Permissions: Nothing too special but: his standard permissions are right here.
Floor / Room: He's in Floor 5 room 20
Occupation(s): He'll most likely be a cleaner. Also he can be a consultant for lost valuables, since his powers are good for that sort of thing!
Hobbies & Hang-outs: He will most likely be exploring, a lot. He's also a bookworm so reading is a thing he does a lot too. Also food, he likes spicy foods and, well, he just wants to try a whole bunch of new things while here.

This Month's Plans: Uh getting him situated is probably the biggest thing!
Goals: Nothing as of yet. He'll just be working managing his phobia, trying to get along with everyone.
Desired CR Types: Uh people that are good with sign language or just helpful towards others with obvious conditions. I think him having a support network here to help him combat his phobia will be a good thing for him! Shigeru is a mentor type so he gets kinda overprotective of younger people in general. He really is pretty open towards most people though, although loud people tend to startle/unnerve him a bit more than most. :C

i just went through his app and shigeru seems all sorts of cute and weh 8'( i can offer up remilia? since she's never run into who's mute and she'd probably be fond of how expressive he is regardless. also she'd probably be down exchanging notes and learning simple signs from him. it'd def interest her.

Yeah he's a sad sack sometimes. But me manages...somehow. xC Oooh but teaching people sign language would be something he would love to do! Especially if he runs out writing utensils and such. I don't mind them meeting at all! :3

Oh wow, Shigeru sounds like a huge sweetie pie ;_; Unfortunately, Mafuyu can be loud just because she has a lot of energy, but if he can handle an tiny, enthusiastic girl then I'd totally love cr!

Oh man it might actually be good to get him used to those types of people haha. It would be a rocky start, but I would love to get cr with her!

Oh no he sounds so cute!! There is literally no way this guy would know sign language but he's helpful all right, and he tends to communicate through gestures and sound effects anyway.

They would be perfect together then haha. And he knows how to use swords right? Shigeru has his own sword and shield he'll want to get back at some point so maybe they can spar someday~

At least Shigeru has a notepad to write with now so communication won't be so hard.
