If he needs them he will get them. He's...done it before actually, haha.

I'm a mean healer on Ventus in the Mirage Arena. All my friends liked to use the massive damage AoEs but I prefer having more recovery on my hands.

i'm pretty good with terra and aqua in the arena but for some reason ven's style is always harder for me to manage. mostly, i think, because i have a tendency to rush right in and not really worry about healing until i'm near-death and cursing unversed.
who am i kidding this is every game i play.

Faith and Salvation were my favorites - aside Time Splicer. Because that one just looks cool. Terra's my weakest point, since he goes against my player type. Speed is always the first on my Want list.
Nothing wrong with leaping into the fray.

i think terra was my strongest suit just because he's a hard, heavy-hitter. of course, aqua can be too once she gets up to a certain point, and even though i can now get through proud mode with her with no difficulties, it still takes some maneuvering on my part to get used to magic-based attacks.

I went through Proud Mode to unlock the ending and whatnot without all the side-grinding type of stuff. Did not want to work harder for that when I could just ram through stronger enemies. But dear lord Aqua on the first world was brutal.
no subject
i side-grind a lot, though. it's a problem i have in every single rpg i play.

I'll do all the things if I like a game enough/they're doable with some effort. But just to get the story content, I'm not keen on.

this is why i haven't finished dark souls. if you make something too freaking ridiculously difficult right from the beginning, i'm not going to enjoy it. it's just stupid.

I tend to put down tough games and come back for revenge, but I feel similarly about trophies. If the throwaway/should be easy trophies take forever and a day to get, I consider that unreasonable. Got to be a balance of challenges rather than things designed only to sink time into. I don't mind that for some, but geez.

ahh, you and i think the same. usually, when i'm playing a game for the first time, if there's a trophy or achievement that i can't get easily, i'll come back later for it or just abandon it altogether. i can either be extremely lazy or entirely too committed when it comes to that sort of thing, so it's pretty much a toss-up depending on how i'm feeling on any given day.
also! this may be random but do you have a plurk? i'd like to add you because i feel like we could be friends - or at least have some interesting gaming conversations. ^^

My first platinum was XIII-2. I'm painfully close on XIII, Tales of Xillia, Tales of Graces, and Drakengard 3. If I focused on it I could sweep the ones in NieR. But it's definitely a matter of feeling motivated. I suspect in XIII the one for having one of every item ever at some point in the save file will forever elude me - no way to verify what you're missing.
Not random at all! I actually don't have a Plurk, but I do have AIM if you happen to use that. I know not everybody does. It's always nice to chat about video games though, seriously.
